My creative space this week consists of paper pieced hexagons in hand dyed (not by me) batik fabrics. You'd think being hand sewn, they'd take for ever, but they actually come together really quickly. They definitely have an addictive and meditative quality, and best of all, they're portable, meaning I don't have to lock myself in the art room. I've set myself a deadline to have this one on the bed by next winter. -Queen size. We'll see how I go.
For hexagon grid paper you can print yourself (on recycled paper of course) for your paper piecing, visit this website.
