My Creative Space

My creative space this week (amongst many things) has involved the construction of a compost bin...and the beginnings of a granny square blanket. It's made using pure wool, and it feels divine. The colours aren't quite captured correctly, they're more muted, neutral shades to capture the essence of winter.

And after turning my back for 5 minutes....granny's and hooks to the wind, and we have a queen of the castle....

And of course, the dirty rascal.

  1. LOL. They just can't help themselves can they?
Love the colours you are using for your granny squares. They go beautifully together. Now you just have to wrestle them off the cat.

  4. love a good grany! i didn't get to do a workshop with prudence, had kids in tow. she is such a lovely lady I bought a tunissian hook, yarn & a few kits from her. new to the world of crochet i had no clue who she was until after i'd left the craft show. hope she comes back next year and i'll put my hand up for some kid free time.
